Thank you all for your emails regarding how to join the society this year. Phocus shall be holding an open event for all people who are interested and current members to meet, have an explore around Cambridge with cameras and discuss joining the society.

As Alumni of the University, I don’t suppose I would be able to join this group? I looked into joining Cambridge Camera Club but there is a 2 year waiting list!! I have recently moved back to Cambridge and am finding it difficult to meet people and to make new friends so trying to find clubs I can join. I have recently bought an SLR and I am currently doing a Photography course at Hills Road VI form college.
